How we save you money

Tire pricing is built to confuse you. We un-confuse it.

Same tire. Five stores. Five prices. Nobody publishes the spread, so most people pay whatever the first shop quotes. We check the prices, watch them daily, and tell you when to buy. We don't sell tires. Ever. That's the whole point.

Live price comparison

Here's what actually happens when you search. We check current prices for your exact tire size across national chains, warehouse clubs and online stores — refreshed daily, some retailers more often. You get one table: price per tire, price per set, distance to the store. The spread is usually bigger than people expect. On a common size like 225/65R17, we regularly see $30–$50 per tire between the highest and lowest price for the identical model.

Price-drop alerts

Tires aren't milk. You can wait. Most people have a few weeks of tread left when they start shopping, and tire prices move — October and April are sale season, holidays bring short promos. Watch a tire and we email you the moment its price drops below your target. No checking five sites every weekend. The sale finds you.

Rebate tracker

Manufacturers run rebates constantly — $50, $70, sometimes $110 back on a set of four. The catch: they're short, they're buried on brand websites, and they expire whether you noticed or not. We track which rebates are live for the tires you're comparing and show the deadline next to the price. A discount tire deal plus a stacked rebate is where the big savings happen.

Tire guides

You can't compare what you don't understand. Our guides explain tires the way a friend who works on cars would: what the numbers on your sidewall mean, when a tire actually needs replacing, why all-weather is not the same as all-season. Free for everyone, no account needed. Read them, then shop smarter.

An honest note about our data

Prices change fast and our checks run on a schedule, so a price you see here can lag the retailer by a few hours. Always confirm the final price at checkout before you buy. We'd rather tell you that upfront than pretend we're real-time when we're not. Honesty is a feature. It's also why we'll never take money from a retailer to rank them higher.
